Our Picton motel is an older complex but with the modern details you expect, it is built so that the units have a sunny north facing aspect, and are mostly on the ground floor.
The AAA Marlin Motel units all have a wonderful vista of the native forest/bush on the surrounding hills out into the Sound, so you really know you're on vacation

A large kowhai tree in the garden attracts tuis and with many citrus trees on the property, a slice of lemon for the gin and tonic is not a problem and kids love picking their own mandarins.

- Upstairs Balcony Studio being a spacious studio with a queen bed and single bed in the lounge area . The kitchen has a full oven, and can be closed off to the living/sleeping area. Watch your 32" LCD TV with DVD player indoors, or relax outside in the sunshine on either balcony shared only with the adjoining Balcony Studio.

- A Double Studio unit with a Queen bed in the living area, kick back with your 26" LED TV. The kitchen has a full oven. Outside is nice garden furniture on the verandah in the sunshine, with a lemon tree outside your door. Park your car at your door.

- This is a 2 bedroom unit with a queen bed in one bedroom, king sized bed in the second bedroom with a separate lounge area. The kitchen has a full oven and microwave.
