French Pass Beachfront Villas is the ideal base to explore the French Pass, D'Urville Island area. The Villas are stylish, fully self contained and comfortable, well designed for couples and families. Surrounded by native bush over looking the beach at French Pass village. Start your day with the sound of the sea, birdsong and magnificent ocean views - dolphins and sea birds including the rare King Shag can be seen from the comfort of your villa. Delicious home cooked meals are available using fresh produce from my organic garden. These can be delivered to the privacy of your room or enjoyed at the BBQ area with other quests.
Luxury Villa - This historic cottage is entirely renovated and used to be the village Post Office. With its stunning ocean panoramic view over the bay with the early morning sun it is perfect for total relaxation. It has its own small deck, separate kitchen, shower and toilet, a queen bed and two lazy boy chairs in the living area. It catches the early morning sun and has panoramic views.
Nautilus Villa - This freshly renovated and contemporary well furnished upstairs villa has elevated views of the bay. It is fully self-contained. The two bedrooms contain a queen bed and two single beds that can be pushed together to make a king sized bed. Nautilus Villa has its own deck overlooking a courtyard and sea views capturing the early morning sun.
Sea Safaris Villa - This recently renovated and contemporary well furnished downstairs villa has views of the bay and Little Nikau garden. It has its own deck overlooking a courtyard to the sea and early morning sun. It is fully self-contained with wheelchair access and facilities. The two bedrooms contain a queen bed and two sets of bunks, to sleep six people. A pull-down settee in the lounge will sleep a further couple.
There are on water tours that let you experience the stunning area and all it has to offer from wildlife to fishing and cook your catch on board if you wish, or Lyn can cook it for you for dinner.
Home of the famous dolphin Pelorus Jack, today a life size bronze sculpture stands in his honour alongside information panels that tell his story.
